Rayan Air Signs Letter of Intent for Land Lease with Bahrain Airport Company at Bahrain International

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), has announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Rayan Air for the lease of a dedicated land area at BIA to support Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities. The LOI was signed by BAC Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, and Rayan Air’s Chief Pilot and President, Captain Hani Shamsan Alsohaibi, on the second day of the Bahrain International Airshow 2024.

The signing of the Letter of Intent underscores BAC’s commitment to advancing Bahrain’s aviation sector by facilitating specialized MRO development at Bahrain International Airport (BIA). It reflects BAC’s ongoing efforts to support the growth of the aviation industry through land leases dedicated to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities. Rayan Air, with a fleet that includes five private jet aircraft—three Challenger 850s, one Challenger 601 3A/ER, and a Hawker 400 Jet—has expressed a strong and sincere interest in pursuing this opportunity.
